Vive Lighthouse Gun Stock (Nerf Adapter)
thingiverse
Shoulder Stock for Vive Lighthouse controllers is a must-have accessory. Two halves will be attached to the controller from top and bottom using screws, ensuring that sensors remain unobstructed. A Nerf gun shoulder stock is necessary, along with a Nerf Retaliator stock extender. Choose between an 80mm or 120mm long back part, depending on your preference. Required Materials: * 4 M3 Nuts * 4 M3 Washers * 4 M3 Screws (6-15mm length) * 1 M4 Screw (minimum 35mm length) * 1 M4 Nut * 1 M6 Screw (minimum 30mm length) * 1 M6 Nut * 2 M6 Washers No support is needed, as parts are oriented for printing and hole bridging is built-in. Assembly: Print all parts. Sand down the pins on the svivel part to ensure a flush fit in the top part of the two halves. Drill away hole bridging and drill holes in the back part for M3 screws (intentionally too small, see below). Drill holes into the Nerf Retaliator stock extender to match the back part. Insert M3 nuts into the polygon holes in the back part and slide it into the stock extender. Screw in M3 screws (or use wood screws and screw through the stock extender into the back part, if preferred). Attach the top half and bottom half to your controller. Insert the svivel part into the top part and screw everything together, ensuring that sensors remain unobstructed. Screw the controller to the back part and adjust the angle to your liking. Pull the screw tight using an M6 nut and washers. It is recommended to use the shoulder stock "upside down" to avoid hitting it with your headset when aiming down sights. The two halves and svivel part can remain screwed into the controller without interfering with sensors.
