This is a magnetic quick release mounting system designed originally for the Varjo XR-4.However you can install it to any headset with a relatively flat front surface.Attaches to the headset with 3M VHB Tape.A adapter plate for the Quest Pro/3 is also provided. You will need to use super glue to combine “mountbase” and “q3adapter”. This ensures that the curved contact surface and the magnetic interface are printed facing up. This improves the finish quality of these surfaces.You will also need 8 5mm*2mm magnets that also need to be glued to 5mm holes in the modes. Double check the polarities of the magnets before applying glue.The VFTmount uses M4 screws for the adjustment mechanism. You will need to use M4 threaded inserts. Install the threaded inserts with a soldering iron.This system also features a swivel mechanism. Print the “ExtensionS” and “VFTmountS” and assemble the two parts with M4 hardware. This combination works quite well with the Q3 and the XR-4. But you can experiment with the other combinations.
