Vivarium Water Feature

I'm setting up my very first vivarium to house poison dart frogs, and I've decided they'll want a stream or waterfall in their home. Since I don't really want a waterfall in my first viv, I'm going to create a stream instead. I've thrown together some really rough openSCAD source code and am currently printing these parts in ABS with the intention of welding them together once finished. I'm hoping to achieve about a 2-degree fall for the stream. To line it, I plan to use glass pebbles or aquarium gravel. The tray in the pool should allow 3mm of water to build up so the frogs can take a dip without drowning.
