Vivarium/Terrarium Control Enclosure
thingiverse
This enclosure was designed to house the electronics for a simple two relay vivarium environment control for my daughters Corn Snake. It uses a Raspberry Pi 3b+ and the most excellent environment control software, TerrariumPI by theyosh. The sensor case was designed for the larger version of the BME280 Temperature/Humidity sensor. I'm not going into detail on how this works as there's plenty of info on the internet and I am only sharing the enclosure design. But a couple of words relating to safety and this design if anyone decides to replicate it. This device runs from a mains supply voltage and is potentially life threatening. The enclosure has not been designed to any electrical or fire safety standards so use at your own risk. There are two CSK screws holding the PSU in place. Don't make these too long(3mm max from the boss) or you will likely damage the PSU or make the screw heads live at mains voltage.
