I'm using 2.5mm thick glass panes with magnets that are 10x2mm in size. To ensure the magnetic doors don't exceed the plexi surface, I cut them to precision using a heated cutter blade and a lighter. The new version includes changes to the magnet placement, but I still added a small dab of glue to hold it firmly in place.
