Vita Sorter (Pill Sorter)

My wife takes a multitude of different vitamins every day, and she prefers to organize them into small plastic bags for morning and evening use, making it easy to grab her "vita-packs" on the go when traveling. However, sorting and packaging these vitamins was a tedious chore, so I developed a sorter/dispenser to simplify the process. To use this device, simply place the pills into designated slots and then rotate the spindle while holding a bag underneath the dispenser. I have included both short and tall versions of the spool in my design, but users can easily create any desired spool height if needed. Although the current design still has some issues, as pills sometimes get stuck in the dispenser, especially when taking multiple gel-coated capsules. To resolve this problem, I simply use a small rod to gently push them through. The spindle rotates using a compact ULN2003 5V stepper motor; users can also rotate it manually if desired. Additionally, I incorporated a simple Arduino controller module to operate the stepper motor with a touch switch located on the left side of the device. As the design is still a work in progress, I'm not sure whether I will make any further improvements or leave it as is, since it currently functions as intended.
