Vista Explorer Tripod Adapter

Vista Explorer Tripod Adapter

thingiverse

I purchased a Vista tripod a long time ago for a photo booth set up. This worked well for attaching cameras - but the screw included with the tripod was pretty short. I was trying to use a web cam but the threaded feature was too recessed inside of it. Since I had some 1/4"-20 carriage bolts, I made a very simple base that replaces the one on the tripod and allows you to use a nut to hold the carriage bolt in place and the other to lock in the camera. It will snap into the tripod lock in place of the attachment that came with the tripod. Pretty simple - printed quickly and used what I had available.
