VisPotiri Spinner
thingiverse
I'm giving Fusion 360 a try for the first time, attempting to create a spinner that's just right for little hands, since most spinners are too big for three- or four-year-olds. I wanted ones with closer outer weights. I love the size; it's not too large and fits perfectly in your pocket. To add some extra durability, I used hybrid ceramic 608 bearings, and this spinner spins endlessly. UPDATE: June 17, 2017 - After printing it, I found that it works flawlessly. With a small mallet, I tapped the 608 bearings into place, and the caps needed to be tapped in as well. They are a bit large, but the offset from the spinner is a bit of an issue; however, I really like this design. There's plenty of surface area for balancing. I printed it with PETG at 30% infill and a layer height of .15 mm. I also printed the same model in PLA. The picture shown is the PETG version. I'd love to see some of your creations!
