Visor Knob
thingiverse
I used to struggle with finding something like a screw and a screw cap that I could glue onto my cosplay helmet to hold my visor in place. I cut the threaded part of two 2L soda bottles, which provided a large surface area for glue adherence and enough strength to securely hold the visor. The caps were completely screwed on after just two turns. Despite doing a great job, they looked very cheap. So I decided to print my own visor knobs from scratch, and that's when it truly started looking amazing!
