Visor Face Shield 3-Hole

Visor Face Shield 3-Hole

thingiverse

This design supports a 3-hole punch system for use with standard sheets. The visor features a covered top and tight tension across an 8.5x11 inch sheet. Tested shield clearance was conducted while wearing safety goggles and a face mask. A full 8.5x11 inch sheet is used, except for trimming corners near the chin area. Three-hole punches are applied to both sides of the sheet. The visor and bottom holder use the same three-hole punch pattern (two holes measuring 4.25 inches in length with a 0.25 inch hole diameter). Rubber bands are secured at the ends of arm holders, keeping them in place. Thin arms minimize head coverage and reduce material usage for faster print times. Test fitting was performed using standard 8.5x11 inch sheets of transparency film. A minimum of 0.4mm in material thickness has been medically approved; only thinner sheets should be used for test fitting purposes. This design draws inspiration from the 3D Verksten design found on Youmagine at https://www.youmagine.com/designs/protective-visor-by-3dverkstan.
