Vison 3D Printer Filament Cooling Fan Duct Revised

Vison 3D Printer Filament Cooling Fan Duct Revised

thingiverse

This redesigned model is based on Thingiverse's http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:63123 but specifically tailored for a Vision 3D Printer. It incorporates a 40mm fan and may potentially include variations to accommodate 50mm and 60mm fans for enhanced cooling efficiency. The updated design features an improved fan duct, which I printed without supports. I suggest printing the entire model with supports using a .3mm layer height, .50 nozzle, and 3mm ABS filament. The vertical holes can be fastened onto the "X" Carriage bearing block screws by adding two nuts for secure hold. Additionally, you can adjust the angle of the forks or support a larger, heavier fan by threading in two 3mm screws into the horizontal holes. For the new duct, I recommend printing without supports using a .4mm layer height, .50 nozzle, and 3mm ABS filament. The vertical holes can be attached to the "X" Carriage bearing block screws with two nuts for secure hold.
