Visigoth belt buckle - idealized reconstruction
sketchfab
This miniature reconstruction highlights the fundamental components of a western gothic belt buckle. These artifacts were predominantly found in southern France and Hispania during the 7th to 9th century AD. The framework and moving parts were crafted from bronze, while the ornamental cells were filled with jewels employing the cloisonne technique or fine metal embellishments. The animation was entirely created using Blender 2.79 software. If you have questions, critiques, or additional ideas, please visit blog.praehist3d.de or send an email to Jagemann@praehist3d.de.
