Visiera COVID-19 (Face Shield)
thingiverse
I release for free a downloadable 3D printable file with any printer, including small ones, of a foldable face shield (Face Shield). The device consists of four parts: visor holder, mounting clips, right mounting clip, and left mounting clip. This device can hold protection visors of varying thickness between 0.6-2.0 mm, not included in this printable file. A suggested visor is transparent acetate covers for binding papers, as the Face Shield's dimensions allow insertion of classic A4-sized pages. Mounting the parts is very simple and intuitive, with secure attachments that ensure easy assembly and high resistance to all types of stress. The spring effect on the two mounting clips provides a stable fit for different head sizes. Compared to other face shields: 1) The supporting structure ensures greater stability of the visor during vertical movements with sharp accelerations and horizontal movements. 2) The pressure area for support is located in the back of the head, providing more comfort during prolonged use. 3) Being composed of multiple parts makes it possible to print this foldable device in small-sized printers.
