Visibility strap pads

<h4>Use case</h4><p>I wanted to be well visible from behind on my motorbike. With the black backpack that I usually wear, a warning vest below the backpack would have been rather pointless. So I started to experiment with different high visibility straps. Since none of them came even close to the bright yellow vinyl foil stickers that I had put on my black paniers, I decided to design these pads that are held together by a standard 25mm (1 inch) nylon strap. That allows them to be mounted to or around basically anything. </p><h4>Printing</h4><p>Simply print the part in the uploaded orientation. Standard setting (2 perimeters, 15%infill) is totally fine.</p><p>I printed the pads in black PLA (from DasFilament.de) on an Ender3Pro with full cooling. The bridging capabilities for your printer are essential, to bridge the 25mm gap. But since even the budget printer managed that very well, I am confident that it works just as well on most printers. </p><h4>Assembly / Colors</h4><p>I recommend to print the pads in black and glue on high visibility stickers. That gives by far the sharpest contrast and therefore the best visibility. With the nice and shiny colors that Prusament Filament offers, it is of course also possible to print them in bright colors right away.</p><h4>To fix the strap you would need…</h4><p>probably some strap tensioners, double D buckles or magic (magnetic) buckles.
