Vise with Metal Support

I really liked the original Vise from "The Goofy" - it was a great design, but unfortunately, I struggled to print the Threads accurately. The Nut just wouldn't fit snugly into the Rod. That's why I decided to include some extra Metal Parts instead. And now, it works flawlessly! Here are the components I used: * 2 M12 Nuts * 2 M12 Rods with a length of 102 mm each * 2 Main Gears * 1 Sliding Jaw If you're interested in seeing what parts came from the original Vise, check out this link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2064269. To assemble my modified Vise, I followed these steps: First, print all the necessary parts. Next, cut the Threads on each of them carefully. Then, shape a precise 90-degree angle into the new Sliding Jaw - I used a Drill rig to get it just right. After that, glue and insert the Rods into the Sliding Jaw. Finally, attach the Nuts to the Main Gear and follow the rest of the assembly instructions from the original Vise. And that's it! I'm thrilled with how my custom Vise turned out. Happy Tooling!
