Customizable Jaw Covers for Your Vise. Add a horizontal groove or multiple vertical grooves to your jaw cover. The width of these grooves is equal to the surface width at the point of contact. Depth is calculated by dividing the width by 1.414, which is the square root of two. The height and depth are identical, allowing you to use the flat side for added versatility. This feature enables you to customize your jaw cover to fit a variety of workpieces. Magnetize the corners of your jaw cover to ensure it stays securely in place when holding a workpiece. Don't forget to factor in some tolerance during measurement to prevent any issues. If the TV customizer doesn't function as expected, OpenSCAD has a built-in customizer that's worth checking out.
