Viscous Fluid extruder: Grease Gun
pinshape
Summary: Viscous fluid extruder upgrade for main bearings, I opted for a can of bearing grease and filled the tube with it, resulting in excellent performance. To ensure a smooth fit, I sanded the pump section's bottom surface where the tubes connected, as the print base had become slightly squished during the printing process. A crucial note: always use all the grease in the tube before refilling to prevent air pockets from forming and pushing the ram out of the cylinder. Printer Settings: Printer: Monoprice III Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 100% Notes: Minor filing or sanding at the base layer due to incorrect bed leveling on my part.
