This is my attempt to convert various snorkel masks (Khroom Seaview X, DIVELUX Snorkel Mask, Decathlon Easybreath) into a protective mask. No guarantee that it offers any protection against viruses. You can use your own filters from different sources, such as ADO Pro Pac fabric. According to Dominion Engineering, Inc., a company located at the link below, a filtration efficiency of more than 99% for airborne particles of interest can be achieved with two layers of this material. An o-ring measuring 4 mm wide and 60 mm in inner diameter (Mc-Master catalog number 9262K364) is required for sealing purposes. Filters can be stapled to the disc to secure them in place. Other possible filter materials that may have an effect include: three-layer white special fleece by Melitta, which has a filtration efficiency of 98% against bacteria; HEPA filter vacuum bags; and cotton pads as first filters.
