Virtual Reality Sensor Wall Mount
thingiverse
A friend needed a 45-degree corner wall mount, so I designed one for him. The design includes a straight wall mount as well. The insert can fit both mounts perfectly. With an Afinia H480 printer and 84% fill, the total printing time for a corner mount and the insert comes out to be roughly five hours. To install the mount in the wall, first drill a hole that matches the size of your nail or screw. Then mark the holes on the wall where you want to place the mount and use a drill or hammer to drive the screw or nail through the holes into the wall. Alternatively, you can use "Command Strip" adhesive strips on the back of the mounts to avoid making any holes in the walls altogether. Make sure to use heavy-duty materials that can support not only the weight of the sensor but also the cable.
