Virpil Throttle Extension
thingiverse
I purchased a Virpil throttle, and it's been a game-changer. However, the range of motion for the throttle levers was somewhat limited, so I decided to create an extension for them. Fortunately, Virpil has enough slack in the wires to accommodate a 26mm extension without any modifications. For longer extensions like 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm, you'll need to extend the wires as well. To give my throttle levers a more polished look, I added slip-on covers to conceal the wiring. To make them functional, I had to install 'melt-in' insert nuts into the upper two holes. I used these inserts from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IYWTCWW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Alternatively, you can purchase 5-pin 2mm JST connectors and create your own wiring extension using the following components from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F8GDYPK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A28I2MD79B9ZCW&psc=1.
