Virpil Ace-1 Alternate Heel Plate

Virpil Ace-1 Alternate Heel Plate

This part replaces the stock heel on the Ace-1 rudder pedals to match the combat option offered by the Ace-2. You will need to print two parts, as both left and right are identical. Position the part so that the flat side faces down on your printing bed. I did not require any support structures, but the overhang is quite steep, so it's best to use at least four perimeter layers with a 0.4mm nozzle. I printed mine using six perimeter layers and 30% infill, resulting in a solid feel with no flexibility. To install, remove the four screws holding each heel piece in place, then replace them with your printed part. There is no need to remove the black mounting plate. Tighten the screws into the plastic until they feel snug, but avoid overtightening.
