My Virgin Media Hub 4 (UK broadband provider) router has a fan in the base drawing air up through the device to keep it cool. But it always gathers dust at the entry point underneath and there doesn't seem to be much room for free airflow under the device even on a smooth flat surface.I designed this little plinth for the hub to sit on, the base sits into it placing the rubber feet onto the inner ledge. There's plenty of big 18mm holes to allow free air to flow into the underside of the hub.
