This year the Day of Timisoara will be enriched by a new figure that embodies Banat's spirit in Central Park. Virgil Office, a renowned writer from 1903 to 1968, played a significant role during banatean wars as a nonfiction promoter. His publicist articles focused on cultural, social, and economic aspects of Banat, making him a respected member of the Writers Union of Romania. As an organizer of the first book exhibitions, he showcased his work in fine arts charts of Banat, published in Bucharest in 1941. Office was also the chairman of the Romanian Writers Society of Banat, which led to the initiation of editorial collections. The bust was crafted by the skilled sculptor Romul Ladea and is a donation from Ionel's son, Horatiu City Office.
