Viper Scales (on fabric)
thingiverse
I created a pattern inspired by the scales of the bush viper. This project marks my second attempt at creating fabric designs. After weighing options, I decided to use tulle for its unique texture and flexibility. I stopped adding layers at around two or three to achieve the desired effect. Although I didn't try scaling down the model, I suspect it could be done with some adjustments. If anyone successfully reduces the pattern, please share your findings. To gauge the design's feasibility on a larger scale, I created a smaller version of the pattern. Experience has taught me that making a smaller test before tackling a bigger project is always a good idea.
