Viper 8 Jet Engine oil pump

There are two stages in these pumps. The first stage provides a metered flow to the bearings which is a total loss system. Also oil is bled off to the top bevel drive which drains into the main gearbox before pooling in the lower support arm of front casing. Here it drains through a scaveng port back into the second stage of the pump which acts as a scavenge pump returning the oil back to the tank.
