<p>VIPER is a partially 3D printed rocket.</p> <p>Flight Test: <a href="https://youtu.be/VS7LyfjCEJM">https://youtu.be/VS7LyfjCEJM</a></p> <p>BFTA and Core alignment done same way as marking out fins: <a href="https://youtu.be/_sWssDOyFms">https://youtu.be/_sWssDOyFms</a></p> <p>It requires a 3in phenolic tube 30in long as well as a 3in plastic nose cone.</p> <p>You will also need 4-40x0.5in countersunk screws to build the cluster core and attach all components.</p> <p>Be sure to use a large parachute 24-36in to ensure soft touchdown</p> <p>The BFTA screws into the phenolic tube 18in from the bottom of the body tube. Ensure it is aligned with the cluster core as 1 hole of the cluster core Top Plate and one on the BFTA will be drilled out for rail buttons.</p> <p>The BFTA also serves as a nice location to mount a shock cord to.</p> <p>The entire rocket is printed from PETG aside from the slot and screw fins which need to be ABS or PLA.</p> <p>PRINT:</p> <p>3x CMM (C/18mm Motor Mount Tube)</p> <p>1x EMM (E/24mm Motor Mount Tube)</p> <p>1x Base Plate</p> <p>1x Top Plate</p> <p>1x BFTA</p> <p>3x Sides</p> <p>3x Fins (ABS or PLA)</p> Category: DIY
