Violin v2 Top and Side Additions
thingiverse
I created these files in Tinkercad to enhance the Violin V2 project's aggressive look. Securely attaching them was achieved by inserting metal or plastic dowel pins into the violin's frame. Then, a hot glue gun was used to fix them firmly in place. Mirroring your prints is essential. The top additions can be printed simultaneously on a 220x220x230mm 3D printer. However, the knife sides on the bottom may need separate printing due to size constraints. Keep in mind the dowel pin placement: avoid blocking string holes on top and ensure easy assembly of the Peizo pickup setup by not going too deep on the bottom sides. Print Settings Printer Alunar m505 (RepRap clone) Rafts Doesn't Matter Supports Doesn't Matter Resolution 0.2mm Infill 20% I designed this project by rendering both portions in Tinkercad from existing files. The top portion was created with "flame" files from my cache, while the bottom knife-style additions were manipulated for size and thickness using CS:GO Knife files found on Thingiverse.
