In 2005, composer Andrei Petrov joined forces with the "Green Wave" movement, spearheaded by Mikhail Novitsky, which planted trees in the square on Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt, d. 32, including a majestic Rowan tree. The following year, renowned St. Petersburg musician and leader of the group SP Babai, Michael Nowicki, took initiative to surround the tree with a fence designed to resemble a music stand, featuring an excerpt from his song "Blue City." This creative gesture transformed the tree into a poignant tribute to the composer's legacy. In 2007, the fourth square was officially named after Andrei Petrov in recognition of his contributions. On September 2, 2008, the Park unveiled a striking sculptural composition titled "The First Violin," dedicated to the composer's work. The ceremony drew significant attendance from Governor V. I. Matvienko and the composer's widow, N. E. Petrova. This monumental installation comprises eight sculptures, each representing an artistic symbol of the composer's mission: * "Violin-Apple" serves as a potent emblem of temptation through music * "Violin-Slipper" embodies musical experimentation * The "Violin Woman," or Muse of the Composer, represents inspiration * The "Violin Chair," also known as the throne of the Composer, symbolizes musical pauses * "Violin-Swan," or Requiem, signifies musical perfection * "Violin-Gramophone" embodies classical music Two identical sculptures, "Violin-Sphinx," serve as guardians of musical heritage. Even the concert venue and central paving of the square are designed in the shape of a violin. This dynamic space will host outdoor concerts, festivals, and competitions dedicated to Andrei Petrov's birthday. In 2006, by order of Governor V. I. Matvienko and the St. Petersburg government, the square on Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt, 30 was named after composer Andrei Petrov. At that time, Mikhail Novitsky, leader of the Green Wave movement, initiated a project to plant trees in the Park. The Rowan tree planted by Andrei Pavlovich Petrov then became a significant location for citizens to associate with the name of the composer, thus preserving his memory. A competition was held to select the design for the Park. Preference was given to the project submitted by JSC Production Association "Vozrozhdenie," led by Chairman of the Board V. I. Bukato and CEO V. B. Batrakov. This project involved a team of sculptors and architects, with architect A. Trumm serving as the primary author. The development project also received active participation from the garden economy control headed by V. Vihareva, Director of GOSPA "Central" I. N. Loginova, and the Committee on improvement and road economy under the Government of St. Petersburg, led by O. A. Virolaynen. The Petrogradsky district Administration also played an active role in the project, with Administrator A. S. Delyukin personally involved. All materials related to the life and work of Andrei Pavlovich Petrov were provided by the Fund of Andrey Petrov.
