Violin Finger Tape Dispenser
thingiverse
Beginner string instruments are often marked with 'finger tapes' to show students where to put their fingers. Many teachers use colored vinyl tape used for detailing cars. This device aims to solve the problem of the tape rolls becoming unwound in a backpack or purse. This is very much still a work in progress, but this version has a holder for the tape spool and a riveted cap that keeps the spool from coming out. To load it with tape, peel a few inches of tape away from the paper backing and place the paper in the lower channel and the tape in the upper channel before putting the cap on. When you pull the tape from the top, it will separate itself from the paper, making it quicker and easier to apply. No special settings needed to print. Designed with Tinkercad.
