I recently encountered stability issues with my Viofo A119 dashcam while it was mounted. The problem became apparent whenever any button was pressed, causing the device to rock violently from left to right. To resolve this issue, I took matters into my own hands by designing a custom shim. This shim serves as a buffer between the dashcam and its GPS mount, providing a sturdy foundation that keeps the camera firmly in place. As a result, the Viofo A119 now sits steadily on its base without any movement whatsoever.
