Vinyl wall mount

Vinyl wall mount

thingiverse

I was feeling unenthusiastic today at work and had a spare minute to myself. I have a stack of vinyl records in my basement that my record player calls its own. My thing with vinyl is that even though I'm a Spotify subscriber, I enjoy the tactile sensation of gazing at an LP cover and pulling it out of its case. I wanted a way to display them on the wall, but since I'll be heading off to college soon, I won't be able to make any holes in the walls. These (hopefully, my first iteration) are designed to fit a command strip on the back and will balance a record against the wall. I printed this super low-resolution model using an 0.8mm nozzle for speed, and I've recently grown fond of the thick layers it produces, reminiscent of old-style 3D printing techniques. That's why the photo of the part looks really low-quality.
