Used in Christmas lighting, a 1/2" EMT conduit is attached vertically along dutch lap vinyl siding, such as the vertical sides of a front or garage door, to secure lights that are then clipped onto the EMT conduit, which slides into this design. The EMT opening and placement have been carefully designed to be slightly wider to accommodate increased flexing of the clip when inserting or removing EMT, a crucial consideration for cold weather applications where the clips become inherently more brittle. For optimal results, print with PETG at 35% infill and two walls.
