Vinyl roll holder

Vinyl roll holder

I recently acquired a vinyl cutter and have been gathering a great deal of vinyl from various online sources. I seem to get a better deal if I purchase the vinyl in 1'x5' rolls, and I needed a way to organize and store all of the rolls that I have picked up. I made this rack that can be printed fairly quickly and holds 9 rolls at once. My original plan was to use 3/4" wooden dowels cut to roughly 4" long to go in between racks and give them structure and maintain the spacing. Once I started testing them, I found that the rolls of vinyl sort of do that on their own. I did model up a 3D printable spacer rod that can work as well, if someone wants to use it. As with all of my other designs, this was designed in inches. If it shows up tiny in your slicing software, you need to multiply the scale by 25.4 and convert mm to inches. Let me know what you think and post those makes! These are also nice because you can print the racks in different colors to differentiate different types of vinyl (ie: matte, glossy, heat transfer, etc.). FYI, you to print two of the racks in order to use them as pictured and would theoretically need 4 of the standoffs per rack if you want to utilize them.
