UPDATE: 261017 - I've been experiencing a downfall with the command strips as the mounting solution, causing several of my records to fall over the past year. I've changed the model to include drywall screws for mounting the holders, which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2608680 UPDATE: 121216 - Over 100 downloads and only one failure! Please post some makes for me! I printed out some record wall mounts and hung a lot of my favorite vinyls on my walls, but the original mounts I found only supported the corners and stuck out quite far from the wall, making it easy for records to fall. I used command strips to install them, but other mounts were too long, creating a moment that caused some to fall from a great height. I also noticed that some of my old used records were getting damaged because the discs weren't properly supported. To solve this problem, I came up with these mounts that are very close to the wall and require one for both the top and bottom. Simply cut a command strip in half lengthwise and space them so there's room above the record to shift it up for removal or replacement. There's also a deep version available for thicker sleeves. To install, attach the small side upwards, allowing for extra space underneath for easy record removal. The top side features a tiny shelf for the vinyl to sit on, making it easy to display your favorite records. Happy making!
