Vintage Woodworking Clamp
thingiverse
This clamp is modeled after a vintage woodworkers clamp, but I have found many other uses for it. It features jaws that can be angled to fit different shapes. It's best to print the screws and nuts without supports if possible, otherwise you will have a large clean up project. The drive screws are a bit unusual. The have bidirectional threads. One half has CW threads while the other half has CCW threads. They will have to be paired with matching nuts. The two drive screws are different from each other. The CW and CCW halves are swapped on the B version. You will have to print: 1 - A drive screw 1 - B drive screw 2 - Jaws 2 - CW nuts 2 - CCW nuts 2 - Knobs Assemble: Place 2 CCW nuts in one jaw and 2 CW nuts in the other jaw. Pair up the drive screws to match their companion nuts. Start by threading each end of the drive screw only one turn. Then move the jaws together by manually turning both drive screws. Finally attach the drive knobs using 3 mm screws and nuts.
