We stumbled upon a retro Voltron in the trash at a comic book convention and it desperately needed some TLC. As a die-hard Voltron fan, I couldn't pass up the opportunity, and the boys were thrilled to get their hands on something new to play with. The sheer awesomeness of the lion Voltron lies in its 5-lion attack mode (a nod to the original cartoons which featured 4 lions, while the toy only had 2, but that's beside the point). Anyway, I quickly whipped up a makeshift model of the lion hand and it works like a charm - it even shoots out as intended. Unfortunately, no moving jaw means it can't hold the sword, but we'll see where this project takes us. Let's revive some old toys and breathe new life into them!
