Vintage Style Party Lights
myminifactory
These are some party lights I came up with that pay homage to those made back in the day, specifically the 60's and 70's (check out this vintage pic). I wanted something fun and entertaining for one of my rooms. The vintage lights can be tough to track down and when you do find them, they're often pricey. Plus, being blow molded plastic from almost 50 years ago, they tend to be pretty fragile. So I designed these lights to clip onto a regular string of clear C7 lights. By using the shade clip to hang the shade from the string of lights, it's super easy to install and swap out shades if you want to. Each shade took around 2-3 hours to print. They're roughly 4 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. Print the shades using vase mode, but make sure your bottom layers are set to 4. The shade clips will need support material, but it's minimal and easy to take off.
