Vintage RC car wheel (VTA)
thingiverse
These are 26 and 31 mm wheels for Vintage tires from Protoform and HPI. I printed the wheels using a 6mm brim with full supports. The wheels come off the build plate almost as one solid piece, requiring some effort to clean up with a screwdriver and a sharpener in my case. On the 26 mm version, you can see print layers since the wheel is very shallow, but the 31 mm version looks better. A set of these wheels is shown fitted to a Tamiya TT-02 chassis, suggesting they will fit most touring car chassis. The 26 mm wheel weighs 11 grams, while the 31 mm version weighs 14 grams, according to Cura's estimates. I have included FreeCAD files and STP files for you to modify, as well as STLs if you just want to print them. [EDIT] February 11-2018: I added wheel nuts to the wheel flanges, using basic little cylinders like those on Protoform rims.
