Vintage Marquee Letters
thingiverse
I've always dreamed of displaying vintage movie theater marquee letters in my home. My sophisticated cat has finally had her wish granted, and now she can see her name shining brightly. I've accomplished a major feat on my bucket list. As I share this achievement with my cat, I'm also sharing fistbumps. Instructions The following model was created using my Makerbot Replicator 2 on standard settings. Gold PLA was used for the letters and natural filament for the bulbs. No raft or support is necessary for printing the letters; however, a raft is required for the bulbs. To avoid tedious labor, print multiple items at once. To begin: 1. Print the letters 2. Print the bulbs 3. Assemble and maintain all forms of human interaction via printed marquee signs 4. BONUS: Use glow-in-the-dark filament for enhanced visual effects.
