This is a Vintage Portable Television made by Hitochi in 1980. I have intentionally misspelled Hitochi as Hitochi so there are no copyright issues. It was created and rendered in 3ds Max, with the textures added in Substance Painter. I textured very close to the original with slight topology differences accounted for. The model was built using techniques learned from the “Quick Start to Modeling.. Vol 4” course. I then took charge of UV mapping the entire model, followed by texturing it in Substance Painter. During the UV process, I noticed a significant amount of extra geometry that wasn't being used or seen. So I removed all excess geometry and saved around 65,000 polygons. The main reason for this large number of polys is because the teacher chose to model this using turbosmooth instead of OpenSubdiv. This particular variant is a new/clean type. It's intended to be almost entirely clean, but you can see some marks on the side of the plastic. [Model Statistics] Polys: 196,120 Tris: 392,240 Verts: 201,743
