Vintage Bulldozer V2

Vintage Bulldozer V2

Finally I upgraded my bulldozer model to make it look less toy-like and more realistic. Modifications: * Detailed side arms were added * A detailed engine was incorporated, making it nearly impossible to see through the engine cowlings, but it's there, complete with a cooler, 4 cylinders and pipes leading to exhaust and air filter * A tool box with some tools (hammer, grease gun, nut and oil bottle) was placed on the right fender, along with a fuel tank on the left fender * An undercarriage featuring three fake support rollers on each side was added The design remains related to small vintage bulldozers like the Caterpillar model 2, the Case 310 bulldozers or the Oliver Cletrac OC3 and some toy bulldozers inspired by these classic machines. For reference, see: http://www.2tontractor.net/ or http://cletrac.org/pages/model/pic-HG.html The wheelbase measures 60mm. It might be possible to scale it up, but I didn't attempt to do so. This design was created from scratch using Tinkercad. *It can be printed without supports.* Give it a try, and you'll see that it works! You will need glue (superglue) and some 3mm diameter rod, such as wooden or carbon. The front axle is 55mm long, while the rear axle measures 62mm in length. Print all parts in your desired colors, and assembly is straightforward (see post-printing instructions). Print in PLA, except for the tracks and -for easier assembly- the axle end-caps, which should be printed in TPU (the rubber-like material).
