Vintage Bubble Light Ornament

A bubble light ornament comprises a liquid-filled vial that's heated and lit by an incandescent bulb. The low boiling point of the liquid causes it to bubble up when exposed to the bulb's mild heat. Methylene chloride is commonly used, though early bubble lights utilized light oil. The light from the bulb highlights the bubbles, making them glow from underneath. Bubble lights were highly popular as Christmas lights between the 1950s and 1970s; they're recreated using Creo Parametric, incorporating a cylinder and three revolve objects - the flame, top, and bottom.
