Vindicator MK1 Armour Plates

If you have a 1999 kit that is missing armour plates, you can replace them with these. I cannot express the appreciation that I have for these little pieces of wargaming history, hand-sculpted a quarter of a century ago. What I did: I tried to recreate the 6 old Mk1 Vindicator armour plates as closely as possible, including making the details feel hand-sculpted. The Skull and Aquila are both slightly asymmetrical and the rolled-up tarp rests in a crooked position. The originals were detailed in a way that makes them easier to paint, and I tried replicating those raised areas and edges as well. I was meticulous with all the measurements, but some errors and guesswork were unavoidable. What I didn’t do: I didn’t add battle damage. Plates 3 and 5 should be missing some rivets, I kept those in too. My armour is all one size and the placement of rivets is the same across all plates – this is inaccurate, the originals vary slightly in size and even shape.
