Vince Babes was a Romanian lawyer, teacher, journalist, and politician from the Banat region. He lived in Vienna with his wife Sophia Goldschneider, whom he married in 1851. Born on January 21, 1821, in Hodoni village of Satchinez Commune, Timiș County, Vince Babes passed away on January 22, 1907, in Budapest. Vince was a key figure in the Romanian Academy and played a crucial role in its founding. He is also known for being the father of Victor Babeș.
