Viking single edged sword
myminifactory
This is my take on the single edged Viking sword, based on The bezerker from Albion Swords. Please read description for instructions! To construct this print will need a wooden plank (3mmX24mmX164) for sword 9-2, a wooden dowel (dia 6mm X length 100mm) for sword 2-1, and a nut and bolt (dia 6mmX40mm) bolt embedded in the end of sword 1. A distilled taper is on the blade as such to put them together in the right orientation, place the two faces together; if they fit flush with each other, they're in the proper orientation, and if the face is too small then it's either the wrong piece or wrong side. To embed the bolt, check the preview for sword 1 on your software. From there you can see where the printer starts to fill up the top of the hole. When you've started the print, wait just before it reaches that point and pause the print so you can put in the bolt then continue the print, locking it in place. Supports are needed for the guard, handle, pommel, and holder pieces only; sword 1 doesn't need supports as it's meant to house an embedded piece.
