Viking Ship 3D Model Crafted with Blender Software. This Viking ship is meticulously recreated based on the Skuldelev 5 wreck discovered near Skuldelev, Denmark, and its exacting reconstruction by the Roskilde Viking Ship Museum known as the 'Helge Ask'. The original vessel was constructed in 1030 CE in Denmark, measuring approximately 17 meters in length. It met a watery grave sometime around 1070 CE, submerged alongside four other ships found at Skuldelev to obstruct a navigable waterway in the Roskilde Fjord. Given its relatively compact size, it was likely designed for coastal voyages rather than open-sea sailing. A crew of thirty experienced sailors probably manned this impressive vessel.
