Viking Oarsmen (Improved)
myminifactory
Here are all four seated viking crewmen again (in right-side/left-side pairs), with slight upgrades: 1. More believable chain mail shirts. I've added proper sleeves going down to the elbows now, which is as it should be. 2. Hands are properly cupped now to receive the tip of an oar which can be glued there. 3. Other slight nips/tucks, e.g. more hair and more natural positioning of feet. Also, they are smaller - my previous seated ones had been more like 1:65 scale rather than the intended 1:72 - likely a common beginners' mistake that I only noticed when I started doing the standing versions. It will be not as cramped on the boats now with these guys :) You might be disappointed by how clean shaven these guys are. I was shooting for late era Vikings from the dynastic wars period after 1000AD. They might also be Normans on the way to Sicily. Having a bunch of baptized Christians may take the fun out of Vikings for some. Pagan beards and long braids are coming next so that we can take them some 100-200 years further back.
