We easily scanned the Viking horn using cutting-edge technology, but its digital replica was limited to capturing only its external surface. Once we successfully hollowed it out, we utilized 3D printing and assembly techniques to bring it back to life. Interestingly, the Vikings never actually used these horns as part of their iconic helmets, although they did employ them for drinking and even on the battlefield at times. In contrast, our prop is made from a bioplastic material, unlike the bone-based version seen in most film sets.
