Viking Helmet Horns - Cracked Horn

Viking Helmet Horns - Cracked Horn

My oldest is itching to dress up as Hiccup from "How to Train Your Dragon" for World Book Day. We needed a horned helmet to complete the look, so we set out to create one. I stumbled upon an ingenious design on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:692930 - it was pure genius! However, our vision required a cracked finish at the end of the horn. To achieve this, I cleverly subtracted a noise surface generated in Processing and OpenScad from the original design. Print Settings: Printer: Mini Kossel Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: I want to note that the tip of the horn is extremely delicate. It's crucial to use build fans, but be aware that there may still be some messy heat buildup issues.
