To meet my girlfriend's needs for Viking Knit jewelry-making, I designed a compact draw plate for our Makerbot. Unlike traditional rectangular hardwood blocks, this unique design features tightly spaced holes to optimize build material usage. Made from durable ABS, it has successfully withstood multiple uses. Hole sizes range from 4mm to 19mm in millimeters. For added stability, I printed the draw plate using three solid surface layers and a 25% fill rate.
